Red Deer River
The Red Deer River originates in near Nut Lake, SK and meanders eastward through Red Deer Lake until it eventually flows into Dawson Bay on Lake Winnipegosis. Angling is most popular near the river mouth where you can find a provincial campground, seasonal washrooms, a cook shack, and a boat launch. The most popular species include walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, freshwater drum, white sucker, common carp, and brown bullhead.
