Education to ensure fisheries for the future
SVSFE has been strongly committed to initiating youth educational programs and providing children with the opportunity to acquire the necessary outdoor skills and ethical mentalities to be stewards of the future. There are typically two separate camps available in August but due to COVID-19 the past few camps have been cancelled. SVSFE is hopefully camp will resume in 2023.
NEW FOR 2022!!
SVSFE Rec Angling Day Camps – The day camp program will provide youth ages 10 -14 with the opportunity to fish for different species, learning different angling techniques along with exposure to land base knowledge with a focus on angling. The Day Camps will take place in July and August of 2022. Fishing destinations include Wellman Lake, Red Deer River and the Swan River (RRC Camp). For more information or to register, click here.
