Steeprock River

The Steeprock River originates at North Steeprock Lake and meanders eastward through the Porcupine Mountains until it eventually flows into Lake Winnipegosis. Angling opportunities exist throughout the river from the upper reaches to the lower reaches. The Steeprock River is primarily stocked with brook trout, although other species have been stocked including tiger trout, rainbow trout, and brown trout.
