Little Island Lake

Little Island Lake is 101.9 hectares with a maximum depth of 6.3 meters. Northern pike are the targetable fish species present. This lake is known for producing exceptional pike fishing with the odd trophy pike being reported as well.

**Due to the nature of difficulty regarding access on backcountry lakes, launch access areas are restricted to small watercraft only.

Access

Located 104 km from Swan River, MB off of PR #367 in the Duck Mountain Provincial Park. The distance from trailhead to Little Island Lake is 5.65 km, located along an old ATV trail. Nowadays, the lake is commonly accessed by snowmobile in the winter months. This trail is not maintained, and therefore fallen trees may complicate passage.
