Legacy (Lars) Lake

Legacy (Lars) Lake is 10.9 hectares with a maximum depth of 9.8 meters and a mean depth of 3.4 meters. Northern pike are the targetable fish species present. The lake is easily accessible in the summer months, and there is no shortage of weed beds to target them in. Be sure the respect the trapper’s cabin nearby.

**Due to the nature of difficulty regarding access on backcountry lakes, launch access areas are restricted to small watercraft only.

Access

Located 72.6 km from Swan River, MB off of PR #365 in the Porcupine Mountain Provincial Forest. The distance from trailhead to Legacy(Lars) Lake is 6.2 km. If road conditions are fair, users can park at the junction shortening the travels to ~300m.
