Jack Lake
Jack Lake is 48.3 hectares with a maximum depth of 8 meters. Northern pike are the targetable fish species present. Jack Lake is most commonly accessed in the winter as trail conditions are more favorable. Fishing reports from Jack Lake commonly state that pike fishing is exceptional. Be cautious, as there are annual reports of poor ice conditions on the north side of the lake.
**Due to the nature of difficulty regarding access on backcountry lakes, launch access areas are restricted to small watercraft only.
Access
Located 80.2 km from Swan River, MB off of PR #366 in the Duck Mountain Provincial Park. The distance from trailhead to Jack Lake is 9.4 km. The lake is located on an offshoot trail off the Mossberry Lake ATV trail. This portion of the trail is not-maintained and the lake is most commonly accessed by snowmobile in the winter months.
