Whitemud Lake

Whitemud Lake is 174.6 hectares with a maximum depth of 1.8 meters. Northern pike is the targetable fish species present. Whitemud Lake is part of the Valley River system and there have been reports of perch and walleye being caught there on occasion.
**Due to the nature of difficulty regarding access on backcountry lakes, launch access areas are restricted to small watercraft only.
Access

Located 72.2 km from Swan River, MB off of PR #366 in the Duck Mountain Provincial Park. The distance from trailhead to Whitemud Lake is 150 meters. The lake is located at the end of a short trail. The lake is most commonly accessed by foot in summer or by snowmobile in the winter months. This trail is not maintained and fallen trees along the trail may be an obstacle.
