Virgin Lake

Virgin Lake is 82.9 hectares with a maximum depth of 7.1 meters and a mean depth of 3.1 meters. Features present include an undeveloped boat launch, dock with bench, day-use picnic area and limited parking area. Walleye and northern pike are the targetable fish species present. This semi-remote lake is popular for the north mountain anglers as an alternative destination when fishing at North Steeprock Lake. Bring your fish finder, as this lake is littered with underwater structure.
Access

Located 72.6 km from Swan River, MB on PR #365 in the Porcupine Provincial Forest. The lake is located 6.9 km from the trailhead at the end of PR #365 along the National Mills Logging Road and is most commonly accessed by four-wheel drive vehicles in the summer months and snowmobile in the winter months. Because of possible logging operations, be sure to contact the nearest government office for updated information before using this trail. This trail is not maintained, therefore fallen trees may complicate passage.
