Mirror Lake

Mirror Lake is 15.4 hectares with a maximum depth of 33.3 meters and a mean depth of 10.8 meters. Targetable fish species present are brook trout and lake whitefish. Mirror Lake is a unique fishery with considerable depth, believed by some locals to be a meteor lake. The fishery provides ideal habitat for cold water species including brook trout and lake whitefish.

**Due to the nature of difficulty regarding access on backcountry lakes, launch access areas are restricted to small watercraft only.

Access

Located 72.6 km from Swan River, MB off of PR #365 in the Porcupine Mountain Provincial Forest. The distance from trailhead to Mirror Lake is 28.2 km. The lake is located along the National Mills Logging Road and is most commonly accessed by snowmobile in the winter months. Because of possible logging operations, be sure to contact the nearest government office for updated information before using this trail. This trail is not maintained, therefore fallen trees may complicate passage.
